The annual Ministry and Mission Conference will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014. The featured speaker is Becca Stevens. It will be held at First Baptist Church in Asheville from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (Doors open at 7:45.) There are information booklets in the narthex and on the bulletin board with information about the conference and descriptions of all of the workshops.

WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE? This annual diocesan gathering offers a day of learning and growth for all. Workshops provide information, ideas and hands-on learning experiences related to all facets of congregational life. 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? ALL are invited, especially new leaders and clergy, wardens, vestry members, treasurers, administrators and committee chairs for stewardship, education and outreach ministries. You are invited. The offerings are based on requests from parishes, ministry area leaders and from individuals who attended previous conferences. All are welcome.

COSTS Registration is $25 if payment is received at the diocesan offices by April 11 and $35 if paid by April 25. Registration online is preferred. Workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations must be made with payment. Registration includes coffee, muffins and lunch. Refunds are not available. After April 25, walk-in registration fee of $40 must be paid; it will include lunch.
