Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Hayesville will present a series of seminars focusing on end-of-life planning beginning Saturday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m. and continuing for the following three Saturdays. All are welcome and encouraged to join the conversation in the undercroft of the church.

When the Sacred Threads art quilts exhibition opens at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Hayesville, NC, on May 10, viewers will first be struck by the beauty of the quilts, then by the intricacy of their construction, and then by the stories that inspired them. The traveling exhibition of 40 quilts is open to the public from May 10-22. Everyone is welcome for a rare and unique experience.

This traveling exhibition showcases 40 of the 300 or more quilts made by artists in the United States and Canada and shown biennially in cities such as New York, Washington, D.C., and Pasadena, California.
