Have you marked your calendar for the 5th annual Parade of Tables and Silent Auction on Friday, June 16? Tickets will be sold after each Sunday service on May 21, May 28, and June 4. Only $20 per person buys your choice of beef, chicken or vegetarian entrée along with appetizers, sides, desserts and your beverage of choice (wine – with or without alcohol). Tables will be assigned by number when you purchase your ticket, so if you want to sit with anyone in particular, you must buy your tickets at the same time. Table hosts will not know their table number until right before the event.

Table hosts are working hard on their theme tables, showcasing “Love on Parade.” Put your own love on parade by submitting special photos or messages for Fr. Bill’s slide presentation. Email your messages (e.g., Happy 50th Anniversary, Sweetie Pie!) and photos (JPEG format) to Fr. Bill. If all you have is a print photo, you can come by the church office and scan your photo. Remember, we’re celebrating all kinds of love, not just of the romantic sort. Love of animals, nature, skydiving or whatever your passion, it will fit right in. Questions? Most of us can find something to donate for the Silent Auction. High quality collectibles, gift certificates, home accessories, jewelry, weekend get-aways, home services, decorative glass or pottery (not ordinary glassware), almost anything (of appropriate quality) goes. Be creative! We will be accepting donations May 28 through June 5 in the Parish Hall. If you’re not sure about your item or service, call Joy Fox (828-389-4763).
