Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Our annual Parish Thanksgiving Dinner will be at noon here at the church in the Parish Hall. The church will provide turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and dressing. We ask that all who attend bring side dishes and/or desserts. Please also remember to sign up in the hallway if you plan to attend and indicate the side dish or dessert you will be bringing. This makes it much easier to plan the meal and to ensure there is enough for everyone.
We also need volunteers for prep, service, and cleanup so if you are available, please let us know by signing up for that as well. Volunteer Needs:
1) Friday, November 24 - one person to help with grocery shopping at a mutually agreed upon time
2) Monday, November 20 - Turkey roasting, chopping vegetables, peeling potatoes—2 people
3) Tuesday, November 21- carving ham and turkey - 2 or 3 people as carvers
4) Wednesday, November 22 - Set up and decorate Parish Hall (Mili Arias in charge) 3 people; Assembly of dressings, tea & coffee, punch setup. Get as much food ready to be served as possible.
